Managing Director EOS Netherlands (m/f/d)

EOS Group is strategically expanding in the Netherlands, building on a foundation of non-performing loan investments to establish a stronger market position. As Managing Director, you will be responsible for shaping the EOS Netherlands organization, leveraging the current foundation to drive further growth. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial leader to refine the strategy, structure and culture of a growing business unit within an international group that leads the NPL investment and servicing landscape in Europe.

Reporting directly to the EOS Group Board, you will set the strategic agenda for EOS Netherlands, allocate capital and drive performance across unsecured and secured NPL portfolios. Combining an entrepreneurial mindset with a strong results orientation, you will originate and lead significant transactions, build strategic partnerships and actively steer portfolio performance to deliver strong returns and sustainable growth.

Your responsibilities:

• Developing a fresh strategic direction and operating model while leveraging the existing investments as your foundation for growth and ensuring alignment with EOS Group objectives.
• Lead the establishment and organizational setup of EOS Netherlands, including formation of teams, processes and systems from scratch.
• Identify and manage investment opportunities in the Dutch market, including representing EOS Netherlands in negotiations and complex multi-party processes.
• Oversee the entire deal lifecycle, from sourcing to closing, and ensure post-deal performance meets targeted returns.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, partners and advisors.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage risk across all business activities.
• Support recruitment, motivate and build up a team, fostering a high-performance culture and professional development.
• Provide decision-ready insights and strategic recommendations to the EOS Board, ensuring transparency on portfolio performance.
• Drive innovation, digitalization and proactively identify new growth opportunities for EOS Netherlands.

This is what you bring to the table:

• Extensive experience (7+ years) in NPL investments and/or servicing, distressed debt, real estate finance, investment banking or related fields, with a proven history of leading transactions and managing portfolios independently.
• Demonstrated track record in building organizations or business units, ideally in a start-up or market-entry context.
• Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, Law, or Business Administration; an MBA from a leading international business school, a CFA charter or an equivalent qualification is a strong plus.
• Deep understanding of the Dutch financial market and regulatory landscape.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and align teams across functions.
• Strong entrepreneurial drive and analytical thinking enabling sound, fact-based decision-making in complex situations.
• Fluent in Dutch and English is mandatory.
